19th World Kendo Championship was on July 4th to 7th in Milan, Italy.
During this championship, many of our customers were awarded!
We would like to introduce two players who were awarded in the Women's Individual Category.
Mari Suenaga Sensei from Team Japan placed 2nd in Women's Individual!!
Mrs. and Mr. Suenaga has both ordered our Original Kote - UNZEI from Budogu Zen.
Mari Suenaga - 35 years old, Kendo 7 Dan
Maiden Name: Mariko Yamamoto
Mrs. Mari Suenaga Sensei joined Osaka Prefectural Police after graduating PL Gakuen High School in Osaka. She consecutively competed in 4 World Kendo Championships since 2009. She has won All Japan Women Kendo Championship in 2012, 2013, and 2022.
Mr. Shota Suenaga Sensei (35 years old) also practices kendo. He represented Osaka Prefecture during his high school years. He is the Representative Director of Mi Yuji. He owns Neast Side and Cafe Hapirabu using a closed school facility as a employment support project for special needs.

Betty Park from Team Canada placed Top 8 in Women's Individual!!
Betty was selected for Team Canada member from this championship.
She won Canadian National Kendo Championship that was held last year and got selected to be in Team Canada.
During the 19th World Kendo Championship, she wore our Tournament Bogu Set - Issen and used our tournament shinai Mutsuki.
