Standard Cotton Naginata Gi

A classic Naginata keiko gi with an improved design. Made from 100% cotton, it is lightweight and traditionally cut for comfort and freedom of movement.

The elastic sleeve hems prevent the naginata’s ishizuki (butt end) from catching in the sleeves during practice. Two sets of himo are already sewn into the gi for a clean and secure closure—one inside at the left chest and the other at the right hip. With no visible himo on the chest, the gi stays neatly secured and avoids coming undone during training.

This model also features two low side pockets that can be accessed through the hakama slits, convenient for storing items such as tasuki, a whistle, or a tenugui.
Please note: if the hakama is worn very low, the pockets may be visible above the hakama line.
