Iwama Ryu Aikido Bokuto is made in Japan with Japanese Shiro-Gashi (White Oak). 
This bokuto is favoured by Iwama Style Aikido practitioners.

Unlike the standard bokuto, it has a blunt point and slight sori (curvature).
The tsuka is designed thicker which helps in developing stronger tenouchi (grip), which is crucial for executing Aikido techniques.

This bokuto is made thicker for hard physical contact practice and tanrenuchi exercise.

It is made in the traditional factory in Miyazaki, Japan.
