Inspired by the ornate craftsmanship and resilience of traditional samurai yoroi armor, the Hiryu Tare combines classic beauty with exceptional protection. Featuring clarino reinforcements and delicate inden-style black dragonfly (“Tombo”) motifs on the reverse, it captures both the artistry and spirit of the samurai — courage, grace, and determination.
At its core, the Hiryu Tare is built upon scarlet mousen felt padding, renowned for its outstanding shock absorption. This is layered between #10000-grade shoaizome (genuine indigo-dyed) cotton, creating a futon that is not only durable and firm but also exudes a refined and dignified appearance.
