The Hiryu Men draws its inspiration from the powerful and refined aesthetics of samurai yoroi armor, blending traditional design with modern protection. Stitched in a tight 3mm pattern, the futon is firm, durable, and beautifully complemented with yoroi-style kazarigawa crafted from hard-wearing clarino synthetic leather.

Adding to its distinctive character, black inden-inspired dragonfly (“Tombo”) motifs adorn the mimikawa and urakawa. The dragonfly, cherished by samurai as a symbol of courage and unwavering spirit, brings an element of meaning and legacy to this elegant design.

Behind its traditional exterior lies a modern men built for performance and protection. It features a perfectly balanced IBB Dura Pro mengane for optimal safety and visibility. The core material is crafted from scarlet mousen felt, renowned for its superior impact absorption, while the outer layer uses #10000-grade genuine shoaizome indigo cotton for a rich, authentic finish.

For added comfort and flexibility, the mendare are stitched diagonally, ensuring a natural fit that moves seamlessly with you through every strike and motion.
