MAKIKO - Canada Kendo Player Model Women's Dobari Narrow Tip Shinai

This player model shinai is used by Makiko Ara Sensei, who was the captain of Team Canada Women's for the 14th World Kendo Championship.

This shinai is Jissen-gata/Dobari, with the knot right above the right hand, "dobari", is made fat with a narrow tip.

The tsuka is made thin, so it is recommended for kendoka who prefers waza requiring lots of tenouchi; such as kaeshi-waza and renzoku-waza.
